Biz İngilizce / Arapça haftalık online dergi için bir masa editörü işe arıyoruz. Dergimiz Ortadoğu siyaset ve güncel olaylarla ilgili makale bir aralığı kapsar. Rol sitemizin İngilizce içerik yönetimi ve bakımı yardımcı olacaktır. İngilizce yazılı bir yüksek standart gereklidir. Ortadoğu siyaset, ekonomi ve güncel olaylar iyi bir anlayış esastır. , Konuşma, okuma ve Arapça yararlı olurdu ama yazma yeteneği şart değildir.
Job duties include:

- Assist with the commissioning of freelance writers for interviews and articles
- Editing and proofreading commissioned and translated articles for content and style
- Conduct interviews and write articles, news analyses, editorial, blogs and supplementary pieces for the PDF edition as required
- Upload articles to the website
- Participating in establishing the editorial goals and objectives
- Responsibility for maintaining particular sections of the website content
- Assisting with monitoring the comments moderator
- Participate in the development and enhancement of the production process to meet deadlines
- Liaising with editors, translators, freelance contributors and design staff
- Ensuring quality and integrity of content for the magazine

The successful candidate must possess the following qualities:

- 3-5 years experience in journalism, corporate communications, public affairs, international politics or related field
- 2+ years editorial experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Fluent accurate spoken and written English language, with excellent writing skills; Arabic language would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of the politics and current affairs of the wider Middle East
- Experience in online content editing
- Manage workflow to meet competing deadlines
- Self-starter who requires little supervision
